Forest Hill is one of Toronto's most prestigious and affluent neighbourhoods, rivalling Rosedale and the Bridle Path.
While most of Forest Hill was originally developed by the 1930s, the original village wasn't annexed to the City of Toronto until 1967. The area's original building codes and bylaws mandated that houses be designed by an architect and include a tree at the front of each property. Today, the original stately homes are extensively renovated and sit side-by-side with the best of contemporary luxury design, and the neighbourhood features stunning landscaping on generous lots.
The original Forest Hill Village at Lonsdale and Spadina features upscale boutiques and restaurants while retaining the charm of the original village. The area also features a number of other shopping and dining districts, including St. Clair Avenue and Bathurst, and Eglinton and Bathurst.
Toronto's Belt Line recreational trail passes directly through Forest Hill, providing enjoyment for nature and fitness lovers. The area includes some of Toronto's oldest churches and synagogues, and Forest Hill claims two of Canada's most prestigious private schools: Upper Canada College and Bishop Strachan School.
St. Clair West subway station serves the area, and the Eglinton Crosstown LRT (currently under construction) promises to further enhance access. Highway 401 us just a quick drive up the Allen Expressway.

Forest Hill is a quiet, kid-friendly, and high-end neighbourhood. The schools in the area include some of the most prestigious in the city, and there are some lovely parks as well as access to the Beltline trail and Cedarvale Ravine. The small shopping hub of Forest Hill Village has the atmosphere of a small town rather than a big city.

"I started representing clients in buying and selling real estate in 1980 and since 2003 I have been the #1 agent at Chestnut Park. Prior to that, I was the #1 agent at my previous company.
Consistent winner for 36 years in real estate and successfully arranged over $500,000,000 in real estate transactions in the last 5 years. I have a strong reputation as a caring professional who produces results and not only do my clients return to me but they recommend me to their friends and business associates.
I care about my clients and their objectives and thoroughly understand the real estate market in Central Toronto. I am an expert at negotiation who pays meticulous attention to every detail. I am widely known in the Central Toronto areas of Rosedale, Moore Park, The Annex, Yorkville, Forest Hill, Lawrence Park and the special communities adjoining these neighbourhoods. I really enjoy assisting clients in realizing their dreams and believe this is the basis of my success. I am told I am a great communicator which I believe is essential to my success.
I am involved in our community and have been a Director and strong supporter of numerous organizations including the Canadian Stage Company and the Canadian Opera Company as well as various Health Organizations.
My email address is success@janetlindsay.com and I would love to hear from you."
